From dental protection to child protection

This PhD project aimed to explore dental professionals' experiences and challenges related to healthcare professionals' duty to report to the child welfare services, as well as their experiences from any interaction with the child welfare services. The project was part of a bigger main project "Dental health and child welfare - interaction for the best of the child", which was lead by Ragnhild Bjørknes. The PhD-project was conducted using a questionary-study amongst a representative sample of the country's dental professionals employed in the public dental health service in Norway.
