About the research group

The research group Images of Knowledge is an interdisciplinary research group, consisting of researchers and guest-researchers from the Department of Linguistic, Literary, and Aesthetic Studies (LLE) and The Centre for the Study of the Sciences and the Humanities (SVT), the University museum, the University library as well as researchers from other national and international institutions.

In the research group we have a broad definition of “Image” (optic visual, metaphors, diagram etc.) The research group studies understandings of knowledge in different disciplinary traditions, both within the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
