About the research group

The research group primarily serves as a hub in which important ideas are shared and issues discussed, in order to progress individual academic work, research dissemination and teaching. The group plays a particularly important role as an arena for recruiting new researchers, both for students writing their Master's theses and doctoral fellows.

Part of the group's purpose is to be a key meeting place not only for younger researchers, but also for PhD candidates from other faculties in Norway and Europe. Visits for both long and short stays are welcomed, as well as participation in the group via webinars and other online meetings. Through dialogue and collaboration, the group ensures a continuous flow of new knowledge for both new and established researchers.

In addition to contributing to a large part of the Master's students' education via teaching, the group's researchers are actively sharing knowledge with the greater public. This is done through legislative work, publications, and media engagements, among other activities.
