Cell and Tissue imaging

The choice of imaging technique depends largely on the resolution required for the molecules and structures of interest. Light and fluorescence microscopy allow imaging of live and fixed cells, tissues, and small organisms, with specific labeling of targets. Electron microscopy offers the highest resolution but is limited to fixed samples with general contrast staining. To become an independent user on an instrument, training with facility personnel is mandatory.
